- To retarget visitors to our website with adverts on Facebook / Instagram.
- To personalise the advertisements to the previously viewed pages or products.
The meta pixel is provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Meta / Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/ps/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active).
During your visit to the website, the following data, among others, is transmitted to Meta / Facebook
- Pages or URLs accessed
- The achievement of ‘website goals’ (e.g. bookings, enquiries and newsletter registrations)
- Your internet connection data (IP address)
- Technical information such as browser, end device and screen resolution
- A randomly generated user ID
- A randomly generated advertising click ID if you have reached our website via an advert
No personal data such as your name, address or contact details are transferred to Meta / Facebook.
The data collected may also be transferred to Meta servers in the USA.
The processing of the data by Meta / Facebook takes place within the framework of Facebook's data usage guidelines. OpenAI Ads Conversion Tracking
Where you have provided your consent, we use OpenAI Ads Conversion Tracking on our website. The provider is OpenAI OpCo, LLC, with its registered office at 1455 Third Street, San Francisco, California 94158, United States.
The purpose of this processing is to measure whether individuals who click on one of our advertisements in ChatGPT or via OpenAI complete a desired action on our website. This includes, in particular, the successful submission of an enquiry, a newsletter sign-up, the completion of a hotel booking, or the purchase of a voucher. The processing is used to measure, attribute and optimise our advertising campaigns.
Once you have given your consent, a script provided by OpenAI is loaded. This may process an OpenAI click reference (`oppref`) and store it in a first-party cookie. When one of the above actions is successfully completed, we transmit a corresponding conversion event. For bookings and voucher purchases, the total order value in cents and the currency EUR may also be transmitted. We do not transmit the content of enquiries, bookings or voucher purchases for advertising purposes.
According to its technical specifications, OpenAI may automatically normalise and hash supported contact information from forms in the browser using SHA-256 in order to improve measurement quality. We use this feature only within the scope of your consent.
Where we additionally transmit conversion data server-side via the OpenAI Conversions API, we use the same event identifier for browser-side and server-side transmissions. This allows technically duplicated events to be combined and prevents them from being counted twice. Server-side conversion events are also transmitted only where marketing consent has been provided.
The recipient of the data is OpenAI: OpenAI OpCo, LLC, with its registered office at 1455 Third Street, San Francisco, California 94158, United States. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, this takes place only subject to the applicable data-protection requirements and appropriate safeguards. Further information on recipients, possible third-country transfers, safeguards and retention periods can be found at https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy/.
The specific retention period of the cookies and similar technologies used can be found in our Cookie Settings.
